A Night At The Zoo

Many, many years ago, the Buffoons were in Mexico on our annual spring break retreat, and happened to spend a night at a local zoo, having an absolute blast while they were there. When sitting down to put together a new album, the leadership wanted to bring that same feeling of a nice walk through a wonderful world of lights and sounds. With Buffoons staples like Cecilia, In the Still of the Night, and Good Ole A Capella, A Night At The Zoo is a pillar of the Buffoons discography.

Also present on the album is a song that holds special significance to the history of the Buffoons. In 2008, original songwriter and performer of Landed, Ben Folds, embarked on a mission to record and produce an album compiling college a capella versions of his songs. The Buffoons were lucky enough to have Folds come to Boulder, help rearrange the song a bit, and ultimately record the song, which appeared on Ben Folds Presents: University A Capella!.
