When Music Director Max McCord first heard The Arcadian Wild live at the Soiled Dove, an underground bar and performance space played by some of the biggest acts you know before they hit it big, he knew their sound was perfect for the Buffoons, and set about arranging the second single off Carved From Oak. Soloist Ethan Rossi soars high above intricate harmonies and percussion that can almost make you smell the sawdust in an old, dilapidated barn. Harkening back to The Great Debate, which also leaned into a more cinematic tone, The Anthem of Mr. Dark is sure to be the anthem (pun intended) of a new generation of Buffoons fans.
