The lead single off of Carved From Oak, Put Your Records On had been known and sung by the group for a long time prior to the original conception of the album. With a laid-back energy from soloist M Jordan underscored by one of the more technically diverse arrangements in the Buffoon repertoire and bombastic production by industry legend Bill Hare, it was a no-brainer picking this to be our first new release in over 4 years. Corinne Bailey Rae’s beautiful voice and powerful lyricism, covered hundreds of times since it’s original release, finally gets its time to shine as a new Buffoons classic.
