60th Reunion

It’s that time again. Every five years, CU’s oldest a cappella group invites its past members back to where it all started, Boulder, Colorado, to enjoy the brotherhood and tradition we share across generations. This year marks our 60th since our establishment in 1962 by Dr. Oakleigh Thorne, Don Grusin, and Roger Nelson. We’re excited to host several events for our returning alumni this October, during CU’s Homecoming weekend.

Friday, Oct. 28th

Buffoon Mixer

6:30-9:30 PM @ St. Julien Hotel

Join your fellow alumni and current members alike for an informal social event before the real activities kick off on Saturday. Share a drink with Buffoons across the decades and enjoy basking in the tradition and brotherhood. Event for CU Buffoons members and alumni only.

Saturday, Oct. 29th

CU vs. ASU Tailgate

2:30 PM @ Duane Field

Come cheer on your University of Colorado Buffaloes as they take on the Arizona State Sun Devils, and make sure to come by before the game to Ralphie’s Corral Tailgate for food, drinks, games, and a special performance by the CU Buffoons.

The Buffoons 60th Reunion

7:00 PM @ CHEM 140

Let us sing a tribute to life as friends! The main event of the weekend, the reunion. Join all the former and current members of CU’s oldest a cappella group for a special event with socializing, singing, and sharing memories of the great times shared between groups both past and present. Every decade will perform a select few songs for the rest of the group and we will finish by teaching everyone Tribute, our sacred song. Performances open to public, starting at TBD.

Buffoon Send-Off Brunch

Join your fellow Foons for one more social event before we all head our separate ways once again. Food and drinks will be provided. Event for CU Buffoons members and alumni only.
