Miles Gibbs

Senior, Tenor 1

One day, whilst the Buffoons hiked the flatties, fulfilling our annual duty to summit and burn an effigy to our past brothers, we bore witness to a great miracle. A boy, tall in stature, long in hair, bouncy in personality, floated down in a great, white column of light, and as the clouds parted, the heavens spoke. They said, “my son, he is yours now.” When all was over, a man, no, a god, stood before us. He then tripped over his own shoelace and lost his godly abilities. This now college teen, was Miles Gibbs.

With no memory of his past in Nirvana, Miles took to his new religion; theatre. Some would say that through his work he gets closer and closer to unlocking his true potential. Each dance step lifts oceans, each note makes the Earth rejoice. Until that day, when the prophecy is fulfilled, and our savior is with us once again, Miles will continue to dance, sing, and generally be an awesome presence that brightens the world.
